| Jeg beskriver mig selv som | Why hello there! I'm Daniel, and this is a wee box about myself. I live in Edinburgh, and after 2 years of studying music I'm pretty much a full time musician! I play in a band called Doubts Cast Shadows - we've just released our debut album into HMV stores all over the UK and online stores all over the world (I'd be lying if I said it doesn't feel weird to see my record on the shelves haha) - and I do a little bit of freelance production work inbetween (recording cd's for local bands at a low low price haha) I've played in bands most of my life as a singer/guitarist/bassist/drummer and its been an interesting time, being able to play the instruments definatly makes engineering bands easier I guess. I'm a fan of the simple things in life. I reckon that if you look into something too much you ruin the fun. Orange Wednesdays are a good shout! You can't beat a bit of Ice Skating too! I listen to all kinds of music, though I do enjoy my metal! Anyway I can't think of anything else to say, if you want to know more all you have to do is ask! |

| Min forestilling om hvad der er sjovt er | Spending the day in the tour van heading towards a gig venue. Getting there absolutly knackered from the show the previous night and feeling like crap. Setting up, doing a soundcheck then grabbing a bite to eat. Getting up on the stage feeling worse than earlier, but watching the crowd go off on one, and the energy from the stage, makes it all worthwhile. Then grabbing drinks afterwards whether it was good or not, cos playing the music is what i love the most. |
